Chasing sunsets

Lake Mulwala does amazing sunrises. Just magnificent. I hadn’t been able to catch a sunset there, so thought a trip to the boardwalk, about half way between Mulwala and Corowa might be a good opportunity.

As it turned out it was wrong place, wrong time of year for a classic sunset image - silhouetted dead trees against a multicoloured sky - but there was some good light filtering through the trees along the shoreline as the sun got closer to the horizon.

I love the way it catches a little patch of the grasses and their reflection sparkles in the water. So no saturated banger, but a just as good subtle result regardless.
